Our summer was mostly spent at home or within a few hours of our home — digging our hands in the dirt, attempting new recipes with milled flour, celebrating our firstborns 7th birthday and me turning 33, horse camps, times with friends, going camping up in Door County, WI, hosting a book club, spending days boating or at a nearby lake, long afternoon naps, writing poems, feasting, celebrating and reading too many novels and fairy stories to even remember.
