I finally got to visit the beloved Canada cottages I have heard so much about for the last 7 years! Alexander’s grandparents built 6 cottages on Aylen Lake in Ontario, Canada over 50 years ago and his family – grandparents, parents, cousins, in-laws, aunts and uncles and alllll the grandkids – still make the trek (almost) every year to this beautiful spot!
We enjoyed every second – waking up to small waves crashing on the shore and light streaming through windows, sipping morning coffee on the dock before the kids wake up and hearing their feet pattering on wooden planks as they made there way from cabin to cabin. The laughter and homemade meals, tea parties and stories shared. All of it was amazing, here are some photos to welcome you into this space.
