Pumpkin Spice Caramel Syrup Recipe

September 29, 2023

Happy National Coffee Day! In light of this celebration, I thought today would be a fun day to share my latest latte syrup recipe.

This recipe is a spinoff of one I saw this girl post on insta, but I switched it up for my preference — recipe is below and I linked another syrup recipe at the bottom.

Be prepared to stir a lot, it’s so worth it!

WHAT YOU NEED:
• 1 c sugar
• 4 tbsp butter, sliced
• 1/4-1/2 c heavy cream (I use oat milk or raw milk)
• lotsa pumpkin pie spice
• small splash of vanilla bean paste (or extract or powder)
• dash of salt

WHAT TO DO:

Turn the stove on medium heat and put the sugar in the pan to liquify, it’ll begin to smell like cotton candy in your kitchen! Stir until all the clumps are dissolved.

Then you’ll add in the butter, and once that’s combined add the heavy cream/milk and keep stirring.

Once it is all combined, melted and heated through, remove from heat and add the pumpkin pie spice, vanilla and salt.

Viola! Keep in a jar and store in the fridge, it should last about a week.
