Happy National Coffee Day! In light of this celebration, I thought today would be a fun day to share my latest latte syrup recipe, Pumpkin Spice Caramel Syrup.

Be prepared to stir a lot, it’s so worth it!

Why You Will Love This Recipe

Budget friendly – I enjoy going out for coffee but coffee shops rack up the price of this deliciously seasonal yet simple drink, so learn how to make it at home for a fraction of the cost.

Simple ingredients – pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice and real heavy cream all in one drink. There are lots of health benefits to all of these ingredients, and most are already in our pantry!

Easy to make – simple one-pot recipe made on the stovetop.

What You Need

1 cup sugar (I use organic coconut sugar)

4 Tbsp butter, sliced

1/4-1/2 cup heavy cream (I use raw milk or oat milk)

Lots of pumpkin pie spice (to taste)

Small splash of vanilla bean paste (or extract or powder)

Dash of salt

How to Make Pumpkin Spice Caramel Syrup

Step One – Turn the stove on medium heat and put the sugar in the pan to liquify, it’ll begin to smell like cotton candy in your kitchen! Stir until all the clumps are dissolved.

Step Two – Add in the butter, and once that’s combined add the heavy cream/milk and keep stirring.

Step Three – Once it is all combined, melted and heated through, remove from heat and add the pumpkin pie spice, vanilla and salt.

Viola! Keep in a jar and store in the fridge, it should last about a week.
